Japan: Guilt or Shame?| Inquiries, Comments & Ordering

Welcome to a website with an intellectual challenge. Sure, I want you to buy my new book, THE GOOK LOVER, because it’s a great read about a fascinating era that shaped today’s world. But I’m more interested getting people to consider how truth and lies can get mixed up, depending upon who writes the history. It’s sobering to learn how the unintended consequences of Imperial ambition and reckless greed destroyed the innocent along with the guilty.

“A pessimist is someone who thinks everyone is as nasty as himself, and hates them for it,” according to George Bernard Shaw.

But the optimistic perspective I prefer is that our world isn’t going to hell in a handbasket. Why? Because there are so many good people who are making a difference despite the actions of

evil-doers.

THE GOOK LOVER is about the unending struggle between the bad guys vs. the goodness of humankind. Give this concept a mull and let me know your views.
